About Danny Cox

My name is Danny Cox, and ever since I was a wee lad, I’ve liked to talk. Not just talk, but communicate. I liked to communicate so much, in fact, that for most of the third grade I had a permanently reserved seat in the hallway.

Since then, I learned how to focus my communications energies, and even found a positive outlet for them in writing and social media.

I am currently finishing my Bachelor of Science of Journalism degree in Public Relations from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University while working full time as an intern with global PR agency Weber Shandwick in Chicago.

Outside of work, I try to stay busy with freelance writing for Demand Studios and Textbroker and staying active in social media.

Having lived in small towns for the duration of my life, I am excited to explore the sprawling metropolis of Chicago and share my adventures here.

This blog is intended to share my experiences with anyone who stands to gain some knowledge, insight, or if nothing else, a few laughs, from the contents of its pages.
